The Curtin Book Club is a perfect place for all book lovers to join. The Book Club was initially introduced to promote reading books, poetry and prose in line with HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s “Year of Reading” (2016) vision to encourage a culture of reading among the youth and all other citizens. Members get a chance to read books, discuss and review them with each other getting an insight and new perspective of the same text they have read, allowing members to become well-rounded and appreciate the different interpretations, giving them the experience to consider all other options and perspectives when in out in the real world. The Book Club is a great place for students to start their journey of reading, meeting new people, sharing the same passion and becoming more open-minded citizens through reading from many characters’ perspectives.
