Robotics Society at Curtin University Dubai

The Robotics Society is a hands-on, collaborative space for students passionate about building, coding, and creating. From hardware programming using Arduino and Python, to electronics work like soldering and PCB design, to digital creation through 3D modeling and printing, the society offers the tools and guidance to bring ideas to life. Members regularly work together on technical projects, gaining experience in practical skills, teamwork, project management, and technical communication. The society has a strong track record of success, having won the Mubarmij Al Emarat MakeX Championship twice and securing first place in the university category—along with top overall placements—in the Yas in Schools 4×4 Challenge. Beyond competitions, the society actively contributes to the university community by organizing initiatives like the STEM Challenge 2024 and the Curtin Boot Camp, fostering innovation, collaboration, and student growth.
